Matthew Knott has over 10 years experience working in the legal profession as a paralegal, with almost the entirety of that working within the City of Detroit.
While finishing his business degree with a focus on paralegal at Baker College, he interned at the Michigan Children’s Law Center, a non-profit entity which provides legal services to underage children.
He has processed thousands of Freedom of Information Act requests as a FOIA coordinator for the City of Detroit, Water and Sewerage Department, as well as having extensive experience in class-action and collection cases.
In his free time, he is a USA Hockey certified coach within the Wyandotte Warriors Hockey Association, coaching his two sons.
