ALG served as a key strategic partner in the formation of what are now the two separate municipal water suppliers. This complex restructuring fundamentally transformed the region’s water system, ensuring both financial stability and long-term service efficiency. Our key contributions included: Negotiation & Implementation of a Landmark Lease Agreement – Structuring a long-term lease that bifurcated the former department, serving 125+ Michigan communities, into two separate entities, securing $50+ million in additional annual revenue. From 2016 to 2019, ALG partnered with a large Michigan City to provide strategic advice and guidance in support of the City’s restructuring efforts for the City’s Finance Department.
